LAURA WEAVER HUFF
The Treeline,
silkscreen, 121"x 17" framed.
Huff uses the darkroom and resonating color juxtapositions, in positives and negatives creating images that expresses the resonance of nature. In Treeline, pictured here, the leaf framework repeats, rhythmically overlapping, becoming a forest of complex color through which our minds stroll in and out of sun and shade.
The elegance of form is almost mathematica and more powerful than the purely mimetic.
